How we met:
We met through a mutual friend in November 2011 – Liam was sporting a lush moustache at the time for Movember and Narelle wasn’t super impressed with that. We met again in April 2012 when Liam had shaved, and that was that.
The proposal? how, what when:We had been renovating our house and went out for dinner to celebrate completing the renovations in November 2016. After dinner when we got home, Liam asked me to help him grab something out of the wardrobe, when he passed me a little box – I thought it was a tie pin so didn’t open it at first. Safe to say, curiosity got the better of me and my beautiful engagement ring was looking at me (designed by Liam, might I add!).
Theme and colour palette:We just wanted a simple, elegant colour palette so went for lush greens and whites for our day. There wasn't a theme as such, but our favourite movie is Jurassic Park and we did reflect that in our choice of cake topper and live piano rendition of the Jurassic Park theme song during our registry signing in the ceremony.
