How we met:
We met whilst both working at Coles supermarket back in 2008, it took a while before either of us got up the confidence to make something happen but in true Warrnambool style one night out at the Gallery nightclub lead to our first kiss and the rest is history! Since then we have built our family to include 3 furbabies and bought our first house together about 5 years ago.
The proposal? how, what when:After being together for 7 years, we went out for dinner to celebrate our anniversary and decided to get some frozen yoghurt for dessert. We took it down to the breakwater to enjoy a nice stroll and when it was time to go home Mark started acting really weird, he suggested we go over to the old aquarium domes for one last look and then when I was starting to get kind of impatient (not having any idea what was about to happen) he got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life as his wifey.
Theme and colour palette:Anyone who knows me knows that I am somewhat obsessed with glitter so straight away rose gold glitter became the focal point of the theme and it just grew from there into a boho floral theme with burgundy, white, pink and apricot colours complimenting the rose gold sparkle elements. We wanted to keep everything as summery and bright as possible.
