Ailsa & Phillip Rivelli19 December 2015
How we met:
Meet through work; New each other for 1.5years before going on our first date.
The proposal? how, what when:While holidaying in Thailand. On our last day Phil booked us into an afternoon of massages before heading to dinner at a romantic restaurant located in the middle of a small lake; to get there you had to travel by gondola. Before we left Phil got down on one knee & proposed.
Theme and colour palette:The colour theme was based around the groomsmen wearing vibrant blue suits. I didn't want to much colour so found the bridesmaid beautiful Ivory floral dresses. To add that pop of colour I decided on beautiful summer pinks, salmons & burgundy in all flowers used throughout the day. The ceremony was classic chic; with a timber arch decorated in flowers & greenery that matched bouquets - the backdrop was the beautiful rugged south-west coastline; which was a great way show off warrnambool to all our out of town guests. The ceremony was a bit classier to tie in the theatre theme. With all flowers on tables & cake matching bouquets; the decorative features in the room from the centerpiece jars to the hanging geometric shapes were all hand painted copper. The lighting was dimly light on tables creating an elegant & romantic mood. The Cake with the giant LOVE letters were the first things guest saw when entering the room adding a very impressive 'wow' factor to the night.
