How we met:
Trent and I met when we both went to the Dartmoor Rodeo in 2011. Trent was there with some friends, and might I add, another girl. I was there with some friends. As luck would have it, one of the friends I was there with knew Trent from years prior. Trent kept trying to set me up with one of his friends (who was one of his groomsmen), but I just wasnt interested and kept telling our friend that Trent was ‘alright’ though. Weeks went by and Trent got back in touch with me and the rest is history.
The proposal? how, what when:Well the proposal certainly wasnt out of any fairy tale! Trent and I were driving home from Portland. The dogs were in the back, I was sick and Trent wasnt very well himself after having a 'big night'. Trent kept asking me to go to the beach but I refused to drive to the beach, all I wanted to do was get home as I had to drive to Melbourne that night for work. Trent said 'fine then', opened the glove box and pulled out a ring box and asked me to marry him while I was driving along the Princes Highway. I warned you, It wasnt very romantic.
Theme and colour palette:Our theme was country rustic.
