How we met:

We met when I (Sandi) worked at a service station and Daniel was a customer. We sometimes spoke of music and hobbies together. I later left that job and didn’t hear from Daniel again for another 3 years, until I received a friend request on Facebook. I nearly deleted him! I thought he was someone else, and didn’t think much of it. I decided to add him, and after a couple of messages finally realised who he was. We then decided to meet up at a local shopping centre. I was so nervous and shy. I kept dropping my shopping and stumbling over my words. I knew he was the one.

The proposal? how,what when:

Daniel proposed in front of our little fur family of doggies. He knows how much they mean to me and that is what was most sentimental. One of our dogs passed away only a couple of weeks later, and I am so glad that we got to share that special moment with her. She was our first pet together.

Theme and colour palette:

The theme was a combination of things we both share a passion for. We had a lightly gothic theme with a hint of rockabilly and a touch of purples, pinks and magentas. The bride and groom even had purple hair to match! We also incorporated our love of Star Wars and video games. We got married on the day widely known as Star Wars day, and I walked down the aisle to the theme song. We had the theme incorporated in to many parts of the day.
